Our verdict
The DELTA 3 Plus is the DELTA 2’s successor, and on paper it’s better almost everywhere at the same 1,024 Wh size. It’s rated for 4,000 cycles instead of 3,000, takes twice the solar input (1,000 W vs 500 W), recharges from the wall in about 56 minutes instead of 80, adds 140 W USB-C, and expands to about 5 kWh instead of about 3 kWh. Its higher surge rating (3,600 W vs 2,700 W) also helps with fridges and pumps.
Both deliver 1,800 W continuous, have six AC outlets and weigh about 27 lb. EcoFlow no longer sells the DELTA 2 on its US store, so only buy one at a clear discount (for example a renewed unit) and only if you don’t need the extra solar input or expansion. For everyone else, the DELTA 3 Plus is the one to get.
